Bradley Pierce has spoken about how Robin Williams stepped in to shield him and Kirsten Dunst from excessive asks during the 1995 shoot of Jumanji. Pierce said Williams spoke with production bosses when demands for overtime from child actors piled pressure on the set. The actor, by all accounts, reportedly pulled staff aside to put a stop to it, looking out for green young performers who had little say. Pierce raised the story during Williams' 75th birthday week, in remarks shared lately, underlining the backstage help Williams showed when cameras were off.
