Ed Husic, Australia’s Industry Minister, criticised Labour’s inner culture after his initiative to open a debate on recognising Gaza was rejected.
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese allegedly described his statement at a meeting as incompetent.
Husic responded by saying he was unperturbed by criticism, telling reporters: "put me in a freezer, I don't give a sh*t."
The dispute followed previous efforts to push the party to declare events in Gaza as genocide.
Leaked files and internal files were later filed that revealed deep divisions within Labour’s ranks over policy and leadership.
