London police discovered a young marmoset inside a laundry bag on a bus last week. Staff noticed the lost animal on July 18. The animal was frightened and had no water while shivering. It withstood the traumatic ordeal. Animal advocates described it an illegal abandonment case. Meanwhile, researchers identified a rare monkey species in Congo’s Lomami National Park. The discovery occurred during a routine survey in the Congo Basin.
